Important to Know

Before you trade

Secondary market transactions involve complexity and risk. Please read these carefully.

Not all assets are eligible
Only a select number of deals are available for secondary trading at any given time. Eligibility is determined by asset type, deal structure, and current platform availability.
Availability may be limited
Secondary listings depend on sellers listing their positions and buyers expressing interest. Supply is limited and listings may be withdrawn or expire before a transaction is completed.
Interest does not guarantee a transaction
Submitting a sell listing or buy interest is the first step only. A transaction requires eligibility confirmation, documentation, regulatory approvals, and a matched counterparty.
Private market investments are illiquid and risky
Even with a secondary marketplace, private market positions are inherently illiquid. Values can go down as well as up. You may not recover your original investment.

No. Submitting a listing or buy interest is the first step only. A transaction requires eligibility confirmation, a matched counterparty, legal documentation, and regulatory approvals. Our team will contact you if a match is possible.
Yes. When creating a sell listing you set the total sell order size and a minimum lot size. Buyers can purchase your position in portions down to the minimum you specify.
Sellers pay carry — NonPublic's performance fee, calculated as a percentage of gross profit and deducted from net proceeds. Buyers typically pay a transfer fee. All fees are shown clearly before you confirm any transaction.
Timelines vary depending on the asset, documentation, and regulatory process. Our team will keep you informed at each stage. Expect the process to take days to weeks from match to settlement.
Sellers sign a sale mandate authorising the listing. Buyers sign a transfer form and, depending on the deal structure, a subscription deed. All documents are sent by email and can be signed electronically.
Reply directly to any email from our team — we read every message. For general enquiries, reach out via the platform or email info@nonpublic.com.
